Mokṣākaragupta (1050-1292)
Given dates (all in the Common Era) are approximate and represent the upper and lower possible extremes of the person's lifetime.
Life dates: between 1050 and 1292 (cf. Kajiyama 1966, pp. 6-11).
Note (Birgit Kellner, 04 June 2018): The upper limit is questionable and may be the result of some confusion. Kajiyama notes that the TBh is quoted in the Syādvādamañjarī, dated to 1292. The Jagaddhala vihāra where Mokṣākaragupta resided was however destroyed earlier (Kajiyama supposes 1202, the year Śākyaśrībhadra and his entourage including Vibhūticandra fled to Tibet).
